We have all seen and heard of the Breville quality. And this time, we are back to you with its juicer: the Breville BJE430SIL The Juice Fountain Cold.
We are on a mission to get you a great quality juicer by the end of our review, and so we plan to peel down the Breville BJE430SIL juicer layer by layer to give you the best and most honest picture. Keep reading to find out if this is the juicer you are were looking for all along!
First impressions of Breville BJE430SIL
The BJE430SIL is already giving us some good vibes since it comes from a name like Breville. First off, it uses a powerful 850W motor that offers you 2 speed settings. However, as you continue reading further, you will realize that the Breville BJE430SIL pays extra attention to storage and low-maintenance.
Second, it is overall a light machine. It weighs just 11 pounds and measures 15.7 x 7 x16.3 inches in dimensions, and comes to you in a beautiful, elegant silver and gray body.
Centrifugal Juice Extraction
The most important piece of information that you’ll probably need is knowing that this juicer uses the centrifugal process to extract juice. This simply means the blades chop up fruits or vegetables into very tiny pieces and spin them at super high speeds to separate the juice from the pulp.
And speaking of which, the juicer offers you 2 different speeds; one at 6500 rpm (rotations per minute) and the higher setting is at 13000 rpm. Moreover, the wide 3-inch wide feed mouth only gets the job done faster!
However, Centrifugal juicers may be fast and inexpensive, but on the contrary, they have a reputation of manipulation the nutritional value of the juice due to heat transfer from high speeds. However, to counter that, the Breville BJE430SIL uses Cold Spin Technology that uses dual-filtering for less heat transfer.
Ease of use
The Breville BJE430SIL has been designed to make the juicing process as effortless and fuss-free as possible. You have a giant 2-liter juice jug that lets you juice more, and a high-volume pulp container to hold the discards.
Cleaning this product is just as easy. The plastics are BPA-free and are more than compatible with dishwashers if you wash them on the top shelf only.
This juicer uses a Seal and Store Juice Jug, which you can store directly into your refrigerator’s door. Or if you fancy, store them in air-tight cans. Furthermore, they’ll keep fresh for as long as over 3 days!
Truth be told, we are a little disappointed with the BJE430SIL since we felt it lacks that Breville commitment to quality. While the noise and low yield can be forgiven because it is very typical of centrifugal juicers; we just can’t seem to get over the fact it fails to proper juice the most common and popular fruits/veggies. It’s probably an okay juicer but we’re not too hopeful. In other words: it fails to serve what it is designed to do! Hence, we recommend you look elsewhere.
